함평나비대축제, 전국 댄스 열기로 달군다…‘나비 댄스크루 경연대회’ 참가팀 모집

The county announced that it is accepting applications until the 19th for the "Butterfly Dance Crew Competition,” which is open to dance teams across the country. The event is designed to encourage participation from young dancers with talent and passion while further energizing the festival atmosphere.

The competition will feature a wide range of performances without genre restrictions, including hip-hop, street dance, and K-pop, allowing diverse and dynamic stages to unfold. In particular, as skilled dance crews from across the country gather in one place, a highly competitive and high-quality showcase is expected.

Applications can be submitted by email along with the required documents by the 19th. The county will conduct a first-round document screening to select teams for the final stage.The final competition will take place during the 28th Hampyeong Butterfly Festival at the Hampyeong Expo Park area, offering visitors lively and energetic performances.

The total prize pool is 10.6 million KRW, with awards including gold, silver, bronze, and a popularity prize, which is expected to further motivate participants.A county official said, "We expect this competition to provide new enjoyment and energy for festival visitors,” adding, "We look forward to the participation of passionate dancers from across the country.”Meanwhile, the 28th Hampyeong Butterfly Festival will be held from April 24 to May 5 at the Hampyeong Expo Park area, featuring a variety of content including hands-on programs, performances, and exhibitions.

[함평=성종화 기자] 전남 함평군이 제28회 함평나비대축제를 앞두고 전국 단위 댄스 경연대회를 열며 축제 분위기 고조에 나섰다.함평군은 오는 19일까지 전국의 댄스팀을 대상으로 ‘나비 댄스크루 경연대회’ 참가 신청을 받는다고 밝혔다. 이번 대회는 끼와 열정을 갖춘 청년 댄서들의 참여를 확대하고, 축제의 흥을 한층 끌어올리기 위해 기획됐다.

경연은 힙합, 스트리트댄스, K-POP 등 장르 제한 없이 누구나 참여할 수 있도록 구성돼 다양한 퍼포먼스가 무대에서 펼쳐질 전망이다. 특히 전국 각지의 실력 있는 댄스크루들이 한자리에 모이는 만큼 치열한 경쟁과 수준 높은 공연이 기대된다.참가 신청은 이달 19일까지 가능하며, 신청서 등 관련 서류를 작성해 전자우편으로 제출하면 된다. 군은 접수된 팀을 대상으로 1차 서류 심사를 진행해 본선 진출팀을 선발할 계획이다.본선 무대는 제28회 함평나비대축제 기간 중 함평엑스포공원 일원에서 열리며, 현장을 찾은 관광객들에게 생동감 넘치는 공연을 선보일 예정이다.

이번 대회는 총상금 1,060만 원 규모로 금상, 은상, 동상, 인기상 등 다양한 시상이 마련돼 참가자들의 도전 의욕을 더욱 높일 것으로 보인다.함평군 관계자는 "이번 경연대회가 축제를 찾는 방문객들에게 새로운 즐거움과 활력을 제공하는 계기가 될 것”이라며 "전국의 열정 있는 댄서들의 많은 참여를 기대한다”고 말했다.한편 제28회 함평나비대축제는 오는 24일부터 5월 5일까지 함평엑스포공원 일원에서 열리며, 체험 프로그램과 공연, 전시 등 다양한 콘텐츠가 함께 운영될 예정이다.
